Memory Display is a control strip module which shows you the total or front application's used/available memory. To use it, drop it in the Control Strip Modules folder inside the system folder and restart.
FEATURES:
• Get Application's Memory:
- Shows the allocated/free memory for the front application. If the Finder is the front application, it shows the total memory.
• Get Total Memory:
- Shows the total memory/largest unused block for your machine.
• Show Application's & Total Memory:
- Shows the total memory bar at the bottom, and the front application's memory bar on top.
• Use 3-D Controls:
- Draws the bars and size box Copland-style, similar to how Aaron draws them.
• Command-click to increase the width of the module, control-click to decreases. Drag the size box to resize the module. Control-command-click to set it to the default width.
• Use balloon help to get some of the above information.
FEE:
• Free.
LIMITATIONS:
• No outline when you drag the size box.
• Sometimes the module's Largest Unused Block is different from the About this Macintosh's. If you run something like Swatch and purge the memory, they become the same.
